It all depends on how big you go. Do you plan on building the setup yourself or from a kit.

if its a stock block a 76 is was overkill, my little 70 will kill a stock 5.0 block and then some

One of the guys I know is running a stock 5.0 w/ either a 66 or 70mm turbo. He's using a n20 jet to water inject the turbo instead of an intercooler. It runs 12.4's i think

62-67mm with a .82-.86 hotside will be great for a 302-331

quick spool and good power output, you could vent a 2bolt no problem 67 is capable of 750rwhp

I have 2 T61's on a basically stock 302. with the 1600 stall converter and 3.73 rear gears. Once the turbos spool , I get 0 traction. LOL its like driving a freaking rocket ship and thats at 10 lbs of boost.

I was running striaght side pipes with no mufflers, but you coupldnt hear your self think. I added 2 Cherry bombs and the car sounds like a stock mustang... Oh did i mention it's and AODE tranny..

next thing is a set of Thumper heads and a professional products typhoon intake and that should give me all the HP i want in this car. oh and have the 2400 stall installed thats been riding in my trunk.. This cold weather is perfect for a turbo car..

Like others have said, i wouldn't go much farther than a 70 with it. It will still have good street manners and such. It will be fun when you get it finished.
