Compression has nothing to do with the camshaft. Also I have seen a few use the F cams so I know the X cam has more duration and lift so its all good. Whats the cc on the heads? I would say the compression would be the same as stock or close to it!!!

they have a 64 cc combustion chamber and i talked to my machinest and he said no problem with the x cam compression would be 9.8 to 1 to 9.9 to 1 and i realize that a cam does nothing for compression i just wanted to make sure it wouldnt be to high im new to all the motor building and i might have a few dumb questions and this site seems to understand that and everyone has been more than helpfull especially you skip thank you so much

Not a problem Justin. Some people don't know where compression comes from or how to increase or decrease it. Just thought I would help....

don't forget that the firing order is dictated by the cam, this is what you might have been thinking of when you thought compression was affected by the cam...

and yeah, we all started somewhere, no need for rudeness here like on other sites...

RACERXMD - wicked looked engine... makes me dream of the day we can have see-through valve covers, etc. to see such things all the time...
