Well I just don't understand how the tech is so different between tracks. I got a lot of crap about my belts that were days out of "legal status," that look new. Yet the guy in front of me had 6 month old belts that were falling apart...

but, to each his own, I would hate to have the worst happen going that fast... But, then that track looks to have a long shut down area, so I guess they can be more lenient with some things because of that...

save on safety equipment, more money for speed, i guess... i wonder if he has stock brakes too?

but... around 5:20ish, is he running his fuel lines less than an 1" or so from his 4" exhaust?

i wonder why he went through all the work with the D1R, then went turbo?

Wow that car is amazing. Brisk it could be a deal where either he knows people at a certain track or the tech personel didn't know how fast the car would be running. They very well could of gotten kicked out after that run.
