Vick once again busted up "ribs ....Nike Foles is the man for the Job looked real good tonight against the Patriots!!

Only problem again, the eagles 1st string. Played pretty much the whole game against the pats 2nd and 3rd string, and still lacked to impress!. Something will have to change if they wanna do anything this yr!

FOXBOROUGH, Mass -- In a scene we have seen so often, there was Michael Vick, on one knee after taking a huge shot in the ribs from defensive end Jermaine Cunningham just six offensive snaps into his night.

In the end, as you know, Vick was taken to the locker room for X rays, which were negative. He's sore, but he's going to be OK. He will be under center when the Eagles open the regular season in Cleveland on September 9, and, well, we'll keep our fingers crossed.

Vick's preseason has been, to put it mildly, unsettling. He has thrown all of seven passes, completing four. He has been on the field for 12 snaps, total. At no time during those 12 snaps did the offense show the required timing and precision and production.

Let's hope a couple of good weeks of practice fine tune things and heal Vick and make things right for the offense. Vick will have some follow up tests on Tuesday and if they come back clean, Andy Reid and Marty Mornhinweg may just cover him in bubble wrap and preserve him until the regular season begins.We got a long ways to go !

I honestly think foles will take over sooner then later! He has a good arm and came from a college team that runs a nfl style offense so he will adapt quick!

Ya So do I for some reason Vick is like an egg that cracks/breaks easy? Foles did look good and if you watched the game took a heck of a shot in the 2nd quarter blind sighted and kept playing shook it off and got up and Vick looked like crap has done nothing yet in preseason but walked off the field hurt twice in a row, paid this man $millions$ for what to sit on the bench? Lets just keep our fingers crossed eagles fans and see what happens but i'm really starting to like this "white boy" Nick Foles guy !!
