i don't see why. A SRA mustang handles just as well or better than camaros and challengers.
Not to mention all these idiots that insist on IRS don't even buy mustangs. Not to mention quite a lot of 'stangers that bought IRS cobras switched them to SRA anyway.

I guess it depends on what your intentions are. Bad for drag racing I guess, but as far as the SRA outhandling the Camaro and challenger, moot point considering the are both piece of **** underpowered tanks. On the road courses, the SRA Boss 302's are a joke at best. They should make it an option for SRA or IRS. That way you have a choice. It should have been that way starting in 99.

I love my IRS in the 03. I would never swap it to the SRA. I guess it does only run 11.70's but I can live with that from a car I drove there.

I wasn't real pleased with the IRS until I did the Full Tilt Boogie Racing bushing install. The wheel hop was totally eliminated and cornering on the throttle is very predictable. It's just a very different positive experience with those bushings.
