starter help
i have a 79 302 sb with a 93 t-5 trans what would be the easy way to make shure i dont f-up a new flywheel and starter gear again i cant see gear go into flywheel any thoughts would be great thanks alan

for the most part, as long as it is a direct replacement, it should go right in, might need to be wiggled a little to line up but should be easy as long as the starter is for a 302 with a T-5, Do you have any kind of aftermarket flywheel or block/flex plate? What kind of starter was the last one that messed everything up? I would go to pepboys and buy a direct replacement starter, I heard of some of the cheaper mini starters don't have the correct depth to them and can case lots of problems resulting in lots of work and replacement parts
