I paid $1800 for an 8pt installed with swing outs. The install was done by Precision Chassis.

Exclamation

Damm, I paid $1200 for a Molly 8-point installed at JPCs in MD. ! I think they farmed it out . I wish I had gotten the swing outs. They also put the rear support bars off the main hoop welded to the shock floor area. Don't really like the bars there ,but was told it's a better install location. I thought that those rear supports would of got mounted to the rear bumper area.. Ant thoughts on which is better or correct? Thanks and Good Luck!!

Hands down best fitting fox body cage or bar out there is from Gene at Wild rides... exact fit and notched.. just hold and weld.. if paying to have something custom, id go there or Rhoads automotive in Middletown, DE..

mild steel is mandated to be atleast .118 wall thickness in all areas so most(S&W) use .134 since bending thins the outer wall some. mild is also refered to as EWS or electronic welded seam which means it has a visible seam on it. moly is seamless and generally .083 wall thickness or slightly thicker.

mike if youd like pm me exactly what you want/want to do and ill see if i can help out at all

I used a sos 10pt cage. It was 735.00 shipped to the door
And its moly and notched and perfect. In my opinion the best
Fitting cage. Hell you can't even see it from the side.

Not knocking wild rides I was gonna go with them but for 500.00
more bucks for the same thing I don't think so.

Wolfe cages are supposed to fit great too.

Whatever you do....do it once, do it right. Go right for a 10pt, thru the dash, and do it out of MOLY!
