Flyers

Anybody following the Flyers this season or playoffs? What are your thoughts on their playoff run...do they have a chance? Or is Buffalo gonna hang them out to dry? Thoughts?

Buffalo is gonna choke but then again, the flyers are known to choke in the playoffs too. Im just pissed my Leafs didnt make it again! They made the changes they needed too late to catch up. Always next season i guess.....

Yeah it's a tough call. The Flyers didn't come in with much momentum and they lost a tough game on Thursday. They need to take more quality shots and crash the net more and put more pressure on Miller. He's not the easiest goalie to beat. They can't expect to just throw shots at him and expect to beat him.

Been a life long Flyer fan, have pictures of Lindbergh I took from the cup finals in 85'. I think they beat Buffalo in 6 games, and I also think if they lose this series you'll see major changes in the lineup. Bob is a decent goalie but this team needs a true money goalie in net.

Yeah I think the Flyers beat Buffalo too. They need to win tonight to get something going or they're going to be in a little trouble. They need to get a fire under their asses real quickly.

they have not had a trustworthy goalie since hextall. they have had so many amazing players when they were out of their prime.

bob is not there yet, i think boosh MIGHT be able to handle it this year..

Well we also have to remember in Russia BOB never played more than 30 games in a season, he was thrown to the NHL with it's 82 game season and post season. I think this is why Leighton was put in to backup Boucher, mental and physical fatigue on Bobrovsky's part. Watching the games I can see the defense is much more patient with the puck, no looking for home run passes trying to spring a breakaway, or letting the Sabre's forecheck dictate tempo of play. Carter finally scores, Briere keeps up his pace (88 points in 88 career playoff games), and boosh played a solid game.

I wish Proger was back, he is a "smart" player. You can really tell he knows what he is doing

Bob is so young! He was only born in 1990

I could't agree more. Hextall was solid between the pipes he's my favorite Flyer. We've been looking for another one of him since he left the team and so far no dice. I think Bob has the potential to be that guy in some time. But not yet.

It's do or die tonight!! If they lose tonight , it is over. There is no way that they will win 3 straight against Thomas.

Shame that puck jumped over Briere's stick with a wide open net and seconds left in regulation. Could and should have been a Flyers win.

Scares me a little that Laviolette is pretty much guaranteeing a win tonight. I hope he is right.

LETS GO FLYERS!!
