Anybody know what this is?
I have the back seat out of my 1998 convertible cleaning out the mess the rats left me this winter and I discovered this hard tubing. I figured out that it was once taped to the frame of the back of the rear seat. After some examination, I see that it has a single strand wire in it. Can anyone tell me what this is? It is bundled in with the wire harness that runs along the drivers side of the trunk under the side panel and then to the top of the seat frame.

In the first pic you see me holding the tubing, in the 2nd pic I'm pointing to the bracket where it was taped. The white metal is the top of the rear seat back frame work. The motor you see in the first pic is for raising and lowering the convertible top.

looks like a drain tube for the top sits, but having a wire in their throws me off... trace it back the other way.... where does it go??

No, it is not a drain. The end is plugged and it has a wire in it. It runs into the big bundle of wires that runs along the drivers side of the trunk (see right side of #1 pic). Looks like some sort of antenna, but my car has a radio antenna on the front right fender. It appears to be from the factory the way it is in the wiring and clipped to the seat framework.
