Brake Light Installation

Hey my high mount and low mounts (brake lights) are out.. I bought new bulbs and dissembled the plastic casing in the trunk, BUT is there something I am missing that I can not get to the original bulbs? Is there anything else that i need to take apart? this should not be so tough ha ha.

if all of your lights are out you may have blown a fuse and/or the brake light switch is junk. if this is on your 06 i would take it back under warranty. i've never had a 05 up apart for lights so im not sure but you might have to unbolt the whole light assembly from inside the trunk to gain access to replace the bulbs. the "high mount" or 3rd brake light you should have access to from inside the trunk under the rear deck

ohhhh okay. i'm not going to fuss with it anymore then. there's 3 of the 6 out.. so i think ill get all of them replaced and if one goes out again in a month then it can fall back on the warranty.. the fact that my headlights have been really dim too... any ideas what may be going on... like could it be the grounding? its been one thing after another since Day 1 with that car..fuel pumps gone twice too.

trade it in and buy a fox!!!

really it could be a number of things. bad battery, alternator, ground wire. its hard to diagnose something like that over the internet lol
