Need a manual trans rebuilt or fixed?

Go see Bob Hanlon in St Peters Pa. The best with Tremecs and T5's He took care of my Gforce that was giving me problems in 2nd gear Bob found that the 1/2 hub on mainshaft had moved back slightly on the mainshaft and wore out the blocker rings on 1/2 slider. Now this is a low mile new trans directly from GForce 1500 miles or less. Fluid also looked like crap when he tore it down. I had just changed it too, I guess I didn;t get all the old breakin or assembly lube out. It made him curious as to what it was, still don't know.
Well he replaced all blockers and a shift fork piece not the fork though cause it looked like it was starting to bend and would cause me problem down the road. Gforce quted me a similiar price for repair and such but said I would need a new mainshaft (big bucks) as this has hardened 9310 main in it. All siad an done under $500. I would rather see a local with a great rep get business than Gforce who probably wasn't that meticulous when they built it the first time. BTw trans going in tomorroww morning may get a road test if weather is OK. Then put it away for winter. He is on the web just Google Bob Hanlon Motorsports. He is a man shop but knows his business very very well. His repair of the mainshaft was to have the hub repositioned and a small TIG weld to keep it from walking again.

Bob's definitely a great guy to deal with. He'd be my first choice to go to if I wasn't rebuilding my own stuff now. I still get all my Tremec parts from him.

He is the man. I bought a Gforce T-5 from him for less than getting it direct from Gforce.

It lasted a year behind my 418 and I sold it in fine shape.

I completely agree. I just had Bob upgrade my T5 with a GForce kit this past summer. He did a great job and suppied me with a Ram clutch kit and firewall clutch adjuster.
