Adam's 2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is 1 of 1611 black Mach 1's made in 2003.  The engine on this Mustang has been modified with an JLT cold air intake which pulls air through the 90mm Lightning mass air meter and puts it into the Accufab throttle body.  This motor also features 42# fuel injectors, ported upper and lower intakes, 2001 Cobra intake cams, Steeda under-drive pulleys, Steeda billet timing set and a Meziere electric water pump.  To get the power from the motor to the wheels, it first has to go through the drivetrain system consisting of Centerforce dual friction clutch which, T-56 6-speed transmission, Steeda Tri-ax shifter and then back to the rear through the aluminum driveshaft.  The exhaust on this Mach 1 consists of Bassani mid-length headers, Bassani X-pipe and Bassani race cat-back system.  For handling, this car features Eibach Pro spring kit which drops the car 1.5" and a set of subframe connectors.  Adam's car was customized by adding Shaker extensions, rear and quarter window louvers, 20% tint, Roush stage III front bumper cover, Cervinit Stalker side skirts and a custom grill.  This 2003 Mach 1 is a great addition to the Car of the Month group and is well built and taken care of by Adam himself.  His future plans with this Mustang is to add new rims, vented/slotted rotors and 31 spline rear rebuild with 4:30 gears.  This is truly one nice looking Mach 1 and definitely deserves the Car of the Month spot.
