Jim bought this 1989 Ford Mustang GT in December of 2004 with all the savings he had. He was desperate to get into a Mustang and this wat the only one he could afford at the time because of recently graduating high school. When the car was purchased, it was an absolute mess with the engine torn apart by the previous owner and no front end of the GT. Jim started by tearing it all down and doing a full body restoration. After he painted the GT in 2006, Jim began to start with the upgrades and modifications. First items Jim started with were the basic bolt-ons; headers, intake, exhaust, etc. But Jim states that was not enough, so he then began to build the 306 motor that is currently in the car. First the car featured GT40 heads with nitrous but Jim quickly got bored with that because of the nitrous not lasting very long. In 2010, Jim purchased the supercharger kit and began his involvement in the drag racing scene. A year later, in 2011, Jim upgraded the suspension and rear-end modifications.
